Responsibilities & Context:
Carries out preventive maintenance of Air Conditioning equipment and systems.
Responsible air conditioning technicians install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.
Carries out routine checks and logs of the status of Air Conditioning equipment.
Requisitions for materials required for the smooth operation of the Air Conditioning equipment.
Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
Assist in verification of Air Conditioning spares purchased/Supplied.
Ensure that the Air Conditioning system is ON at the right time.
Trouble shoots, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Air Conditioning equipment.Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
Make recommendations to replace equipment if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.Perform regular cleaning of the equipment.
Maintain job worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts Utilized, time expended and type of work performed.
