Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Install, set up, and test air conditioning systems, including split, window, and VRF systems.
∎ Ensure systems meet safety and operational standards.
∎ Perform regular cleaning and servicing of AC units, including filters, coils, and fans.
∎ Conduct primary servicing tasks to maintain system efficiency.
∎ Diagnose issues such as refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and mechanical failures.
∎ Repair or replace faulty components to restore system functionality.
∎ Properly start and shut off AC systems during operation schedules.
∎ Ensure shutdowns are performed to prevent equipment damage.
∎ Handle VRF system-specific tasks, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.
∎ Monitor VRF operations to ensure seamless performance.
∎ Assist with tasks related to HVAC systems and support other technicians when needed.
∎ Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
∎ Context:The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing air conditioning systems, including VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems. The role also involves diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency of HVAC equipment.
