Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee welding activities for a large-scale industrial construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising welding operations, ensuring work is performed according to approved procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily welding activities on site.

• Ensure all welding work is performed in accordance with approved welding procedures and project specifications.

• Monitor welders’ performance and verify that only qualified personnel perform welding tasks.

• Review welding plans, drawings, and technical documentation prior to execution.

• Coordinate with quality inspectors to ensure welds meet required inspection and testing standards.

• Identify and resolve welding-related issues to maintain productivity and quality.

• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of welding activities, reports, and documentation.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of welding equipment and consumables.

Requirements:

• Diploma or technical certification in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role on large industrial construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW.

• Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and inspection requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding procedures, and specifications.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Welding Supervisor or equivalent professional certification.

• Experience coordinating with QA/QC teams and non-destructive testing (NDT) personnel.

• Additional training in welding inspection or fabrication management.
