Position: ALUMINIUM FABRICATOR / ALUMINIUM WELDER (ZAMIL SHIPYARD, KSA)
We are seeking skilled Aluminium Fabricators/Aluminium Welders to join our shipyard team. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, assembling, and welding aluminium structures and components used in the construction, repair, and maintenance of marine vessels. Candidates must be able to interpret technical drawings and perform high-quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with shipbuilding standards.
Fabricate, assemble, fit, and install aluminium components for ships and marine structures.
Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminium plates, pipes, frames, and structural components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication sketches.
Measure, mark, cut, bend, grind, and prepare aluminium materials for fabrication.
Conduct fit-up work and ensure proper alignment before welding.
Repair damaged aluminium structures and perform modifications as required.
Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Operate fabrication equipment, welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and power tools safely.
Follow approved welding procedures and shipyard quality requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment while complying with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Work effectively with supervisors, inspectors, and other trades to complete projects within scheduled deadlines.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Aluminium Fabricator/Aluminium Welder in a shipyard or marine industry.
Strong experience in MIG and TIG aluminium welding.
Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
Good knowledge of aluminium fabrication techniques and marine construction standards.
Experience using fabrication and welding tools and equipment.
Physically fit and capable of working in shipyard environments, including confined spaces and at heights when required.

Excellent fabrication and welding skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
Knowledge of shipbuilding quality standards and inspection procedures.
