Responsibilities & Context:
A Stainless Steel (SS) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW / TIG) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick) welder joins stainless steel parts using precise root passes with TIG and heavy fills with stick. They read blueprints, follow strict safety rules, and ensure high-pressure pipes or structures pass quality tests.
Core Welding Tasks
Perform GTAW (TIG): Weld root passes on stainless steel joints for clean, smooth, and crack-free inner profiles.
Perform SMAW (Stick): Fill and cap heavy stainless steel sections using matching SS consumable electrodes.
Position Control: Execute all-position welds, including complex 6G fixed pipe angles
