Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
∎ Provide detailed menu information and assist customers in selecting meals based on their preferences.
∎ Take accurate food and drink orders from customers and ensure proper communication with kitchen staff.
∎ Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive service, ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
∎ Accurately enter orders into the system and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
∎ Handle multiple tables with efficiency, ensuring each customer receives prompt attention.
∎ Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring the correct items are delivered to the right customers.
∎ Keep tables, chairs, and dining areas clean and organized, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
∎ Regularly check for and remove any used dishes, glasses, or utensils from tables.
∎ Maintain personal hygiene and uniform appearance, adhering to the restaurant's dress code, including wearing the designated western attire.
∎ Suggest additional items to customers, such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks, to enhance their dining experience and increase sales.
∎ Promote and inform customers about daily specials, new menu items, and ongoing promotions.
∎ Accurately process customer payments, whether cash, card, or mobile transactions, and return the correct change or receipt.
∎ Ensure proper cash handling and tip distribution according to company policy.
∎ Work closely with other waitstaff, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.
∎ Assist colleagues during busy times by helping with orders, clearing tables, or refilling drinks.
∎ Be a positive and supportive team member, fostering a cooperative work environment.
∎ Address any customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and a calm demeanor, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
∎ Report any issues or concerns to the restaurant manager promptly to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Follow all health and safety protocols, including food safety handling, cleanliness, and sanitation.
∎ Ensure compliance with COVID-19 guidelines (if applicable) and other safety regulations to guarantee the well-being of customers and staff.
∎ Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, in line with the restaurant's uniform and grooming standards.
