Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Greeting and seating guests in a friendly manner.
∎ Presenting menus and answering questions about menu items, daily specials, and beverages.
∎ Taking orders accurately and relaying them to the kitchen staff.
∎ Serving food and beverages to guests promptly and correctly.
∎ Ensuring guests are satisfied with their meals and addressing any complaints.
∎ Clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
∎ Handling payments and providing accurate change or processing credit card transactions.
∎ Staying knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, and possible dietary restrictions.
∎ Assisting with any additional guest requests, such as refilling drinks or bringing extra napkins.
∎ Following health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene standards.
