• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their table.
• Present menus and inform guests of any special offers or promotions.
• Presenting the Menu and Taking OrdersExplain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.Take accurate food and beverage orders, accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Serving Food and BeveragesServe food and drinks promptly and in the correct order.Refill drinks (water, tea, etc.) regularly.
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs (e.g., offer condiments or extra napkins).
• Handling PaymentsPresent the bill and ensure accuracy.Process payments through cash, card, or other methods.Provide change and receipts if needed.
• Ensuring Customer SatisfactionCheck on guests periodically to ensure they are satisfied with their meals.Address any issues or complaints politely and promptly.Offer solutions or communicate with the manager if necessary.
• Table Maintenance and CleanlinessClear tables, removing used dishes and cutlery promptly.Reset tables with fresh linens, utensils, and glassware.Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Coordination with Kitchen and Bar StaffRelay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar.Follow up on delayed or modified orders.Communicate with chefs about guest preferences or allergie.
• Complying with Health and Safety RegulationsEnsure all food and beverages are handled safely and hygienically.
• Stay informed about food safety and allergen protocols.Upselling and Promoting SpecialsSuggest additional menu items like desserts or appetizers.
• Promote daily specials and seasonal offerings.Maintaining Professional Appearance and BehaviorWear proper uniform or attire.
• Exhibit courteous and friendly behavior throughout the shift.
