Job Context:

∎ Job Location: Electrode Plant, Rupganj
∎ Reporting to: Distribution Manager
∎ Work Schedule: 5/2 (5 days work & 2 days off)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing, implementing and reviewing policies, procedures, forms, and/or reports for distribution and fleet management with a focus on customer satisfaction and cost minimization
∎ Focusing on making strategic improvements to the distribution system
∎ Accountable for the optimization and continuous improvement of the total variable cost of delivered product and vehicle maintenance
∎ Responsible for safety training and accident investigation
∎ Planning work assignments based on driver performance, capacity, production schedules and anticipated delays
∎ Scheduling and coordinating delivery trips based on customer requests
∎ Tracking, investigating and resolving delayed delivery
∎ Ensure that planned maintenance activities are performed on time
∎ Motivate and develop driver and helpers as part of integrated succession planning process to ensure achievement of operations excellence
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of working experience in distribution or transport operations or related fields
∎ Sound health for working in Plant Environment
∎ Able to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Advance level of customer service and interpersonal skill
Salary:
∎ Negotiable plus other industry standard fringe benefits as per company policy
