Job Context:
∎ A Training Coordinator (TCO) is the kingpin in the Training Management system in GTCL which conducts training for adults covering multiple trades such as Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Welding, Food & Beverage, Denting & painting, Electrical & Electronics, Driving, Auto Mechanic, Scaffolding, Language, Hospitality Management, Security, Computer, and Cleaning & Housekeeping.
∎ TCO should be knowledgeable about the skill-based qualifications in Bangladesh.
∎ GTCL has multiple stakeholders including SEIP, BACI, REHAB, BAIRA, other government agencies and external recruiting agents. The TCO is required to have a compressible understanding of such stakeholder interests in the context of socio- technical regimes and sustainability transitions of Bangladesh Human Resource development.
∎ TCO is expected to be tech-savvy in that he will be able to handle the Training management Software, a web-based portal maintained by SEIP, in addition to having excellent IT skill.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate between various/all training activities of the center.
∎ Should become the focal person in maintaining rapport between the GTCL and the external stakeholders.
∎ TCO will Assist by Head Instructor and an admissions Officer.
∎ Plan training of all courses and publish required documents including training program.
∎ Provide all documents support to the SEIP- funded project office.
∎ Conduct regularly the morning assembly of the trainee.
∎ Ensure punctual attendance of all instructors of the center.
∎ Ensure timely provide of all training materials to the trainees.
∎ Ensure that all learners/trainees appropriately dressed up with protective gears during the training.
∎ Coordinate activities related to the job test for local and for foreign delegates.
∎ Ensure quality of training according to the competency standard set by BTEB /other project.
