Responsibilities & Context:

About the Position

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. The candidate will ensure smooth operation of all hotel equipment, utilities, and technical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and facilities

• Handle electrical, plumbing, AC (HVAC), and mechanical issues

• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are in proper working condition

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from departments

• Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule

• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts properly

• Ensure safety standards and hotel policies are strictly followed

• Report major technical issues to the Chief Engineer immediately

Requirements

• SSC/HSC or Technical Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in hotel or building maintenance preferred

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ability to work under pressure and emergency situations

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Physically fit and willing to work shifts
