Skills Required: Knowledge of both Knit and Woven garment manufacturing,Technical knowledge,Technical Skills

Additional Requirements:

Sound knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (woven shirts, trousers, t-shirts, polos, etc.)

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficient in software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, IE tools, ERP, etc.)

Experience working with international buyers and compliance standards.

Responsibilities & Context:

Lead the Production and IE teams to optimize productivity and efficiency in both woven and knit lines.

Plan and implement production layouts, line balancing, method improvements, and manpower allocation.

Set up and monitor Standard Minute Values (SMV), machine layout, and capacity planning.

Evaluate and improve existing production processes using lean manufacturing tools (e.g., 5S, KAIZEN, TPM, etc.).

Analyze and improve garment operations using motion studies and time studies to increase efficiency.

Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, and QA departments to ensure on-time delivery with quality.

Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to reduce cost, time, and wastage.

Prepare reports on daily, weekly, and monthly production and efficiency metrics.

Ensure compliance with buyer technical and quality requirements and maintain SOPs accordingly.

Coach and develop the technical, IE, and production support teams.
