Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) or a related field.
∎ IB certification/training is highly preferred.
∎ Experience teaching IB Science subject will give advantage.
∎ Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria, rubrics, and grading.
∎ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
∎ Passion for teaching and mentoring students for academic success.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and deliver engaging overall IB Science lessons as per the IB curriculum.
∎ Develop lesson plans and assessments that align with IB standards.
∎ Guide students in Internal Assessments (IAs), Extended Essays (EEs), and TOK (Theory of Knowledge) discussions.
∎ Encourage inquiry-based learning, research, and practical experiments in a lab setting.
∎ Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the IB curriculum and teaching methodologies.
∎ Participate in IB training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
∎ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
