Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Early Years Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, focusing on play-based learning, social development, and foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
∎ Child-Centred Approach: Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their interests and develop their unique abilities.
∎ Individualised Learning: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of young learners, providing tailored support and challenges to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
∎ Creative Activities: Plan and facilitate various hands-on, age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and physical play to stimulate cognitive and motor skills development.
∎ Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress, milestones, and areas for growth.
∎ Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety, health, and well-being of nursery students, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment conducive to learning and exploration.
∎ Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with fellow educators, learning support staff, and parents to create a positive and effective learning community.
