∎ Impeccable English from a native English speaker in reading, writing, and speaking, especially about medical terminology.
∎ Previous teaching experience in health science or a related subject (preferred).
∎ Knowledge of primary and secondary health science curricula and standards.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
∎ Passion for promoting health and wellness in educational settings.
∎ Strong knowledge of health topics such as nutrition, physical activity, mental health, hygiene, and disease prevention.
∎ Proficient in using technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning.

∎ Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons in health science for primary and secondary students.

∎ Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualised support where needed.
∎ Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation.
∎ Integrate practical health-related activities and real-life scenarios into the curriculum to enhance learning.
∎ Stay updated on current trends, research, and developments in health science education.
∎ Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student achievement and well-being.
∎ Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.
∎ Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
∎ Promote health and wellness initiatives within the school community.
∎ Be available for staff and student medical emergencies and consultations about medical crises.
∎ Participate in professional development activities and staff meetings.
