• SSC
• HSC

• SSC / HSC or equivalent qualification (Technical background preferred).
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or relevant trade certification in Pipe Fabrication / Pipe Fitting from a recognized institute.
• Trade certification from BMET / NSDA / TTC or any recognized technical training authority will be considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of practical working experience as a Pipe Fabricator and/or Pipe Fitter in industrial, construction, oil & gas, shipyard, or MEP projects.
• Previous teaching or training experience in a technical training institute will be highly preferred.
• Overseas work experience (Middle East / Europe / Russia / Shipyard projects) will be an added advantage.
• Proven expertise in pipe fabrication, fitting, installation, and alignment as per international standards.
• Experience in reading and interpreting isometric drawings and piping layouts.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on skills with pipe fabrication and fitting tools and machinery.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and train students with different skill levels.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards, PPE usage, and industrial best practices.
• Good communication skills and a positive mentoring attitude.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and trainee assessment will be an advantage.

• Conduct hands-on practical training on pipe fabrication and pipe fitting as per local and international industry standards.

• Deliver theoretical and practical lessons on pipe cutting, threading, bending, alignment, joint preparation, and installation techniques.

• Train students on different types of piping systems including carbon steel, stainless steel, GI, PVC, and industrial pipelines.

• Demonstrate and supervise fabrication works such as measuring, marking, tack welding, fitting, and final assembly of pipes.

• Provide training on reading and interpreting isometric drawings, P&ID drawings, and basic shop drawings.

• Ensure proper use of tools and equipment such as pipe cutting machines, bending machines, grinders, measuring instruments, and hand tools.

• Teach workplace safety procedures, PPE usage, and compliance with industrial safety standards.

• Monitor trainee performance, guide skill improvement, and conduct regular practical assessments and evaluations.

• Maintain discipline, training quality, and workshop cleanliness in accordance with institute guidelines.

• Prepare daily training plans, lesson notes, and progress reports as required by the training center management.

• Assist in preparing trainees for local and overseas employment by sharing industry practices and job readiness guidance.

• Coordinate with the training center management to improve curriculum and training methods based on industry demand.
