Responsibilities & Context:
Key Job Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Instruction: Develop comprehensive lesson plans (daily/yearly), prepare teaching materials (PPTs, notes), and deliver lessons that follow national or institution-specific curricula (Cambridge).
Classroom Management: Maintain discipline, create an inclusive, safe environment, and ensure students are engaged and motivated.
Assessment and Evaluation: Create and grade exams, class tests, assignments, and quizzes. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents.
Student Support: Identify and support students needing extra assistance, including conducting counseling and monitoring attendance.
Communication & Collaboration: Regularly communicate with parents regarding student performance, attend staff meetings, and collaborate with colleagues.
Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in school events, sports, cultural activities, and supervise students during school functions.
