Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Retired Govt. TAX Commissioner, who will handle all sorts of TAX related issues of the Group with proper reporting to the Higher Management as and when required.
∎ Only the Retired Govt. Tax Commissioner will apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling overall TAX related issues of the Group.
∎ Maintaining the liaison with internal and external auditors, NBR and various Govt. office etc.
∎ Corresponding with Tax authority and consultant for Corporate Tax assessment.
∎ Ensuring all statutory requirements of the organization regarding TAX.
∎ Keeping the management up to date with all relevant changes in Tax regulations and their potential impact on the organization.
∎ Following industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
∎ Identifying tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
∎ Sharing financial data with the accounting department.
∎ Recommending tax strategies that align with the business goals.
∎ Other duties and responsibilities as entrusted by the Higher Management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 58 to 62 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Good interpersonal skill.
∎ Must be self-driven and possess good work ethics.
∎ Must be a good team member.
∎ Must be persuasive and ready to do a lot of hard work
∎ Skilled in MS Office Suite.
∎ Problem solving skills
∎ Knowledge on ERP software
∎ Ability to write monthly and quarterly reports
∎ Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant or Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer.
