• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on graphic design, vector illustration, or apparel artwork experience.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating vector artwork, SVG design, logo recreation, sports apparel graphics, jersey artwork, or production-ready design files.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is also required.

• Strong understanding of SVG structure, clean vector paths, grouping, layering, file optimization, and scalable artwork preparation.

• Good understanding of apparel artwork preparation, including sublimation, screen print, embroidery, heat transfer,

• CMYK/RGB/Pantone color usage, sizing, placement, and print-readiness.

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, layout sense, typography, spacing, color balance, and visual consistency.

• Ability to manage multiple design tasks, follow brand standards, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.

• Excellent English communication skills and confidence communicating with North American team members.

• Must submit an updated CV and portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and relevant design work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within sports apparel, fashion, teamwear, hockey, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, or custom uniform design.

• Knowledge of apparel customization platforms, product configurators, e-commerce product visuals, or online design tools.

• Experience with Figma, CorelDRAW, Adobe InDesign, or similar design tools will be considered an advantage.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how SVG graphics are used on websites or customization interfaces.

• Ability to create design templates, artwork libraries, mockups, icons, layout systems, and reusable vector components.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools while maintaining strong manual design judgment and quality control.

Remote Work Requirements

• Quiet, professional, and distraction-free workspace suitable for meetings and remote collaboration.

• Ability to work the assigned night shift schedule consistently and maintain professional availability during working hours.

• Must be available to work according to the Ontario, Canada business calendar and observe Ontario statutory/public holidays as required by the organization.

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically strong SVG Graphic Designer to create clean vector-based artwork, digital customization assets, sports apparel graphics, and production-ready design files for Bardown Sports Inc. The ideal candidate will have strong Adobe Illustrator skills, a sharp eye for layout and detail, and practical experience preparing artwork for apparel production, sublimation, print, embroidery, or customization platforms. This role is best suited for someone who can work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accuracy, brand consistency, and clear communication with the team.

Work Schedule

• 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM (Night Shift) Bangladesh Time

Key Responsibilities

SVG and Vector Artwork Creation

• Create clean, scalable, and editable SVG/vector artwork for apparel designs, web assets, customization tools, and internal design requirements.

• Convert raster artwork, sketches, logos, and design concepts into accurate vector graphics with proper paths, layers, groups, naming, and structure.

• Prepare artwork variations for jerseys, uniforms, teamwear, graphics packages, names, numbers, logos, icons, and design elements as required.

Sports Apparel Design Support

• Support the creation and refinement of hockey, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, and other teamwear design assets.

• Prepare graphics for sublimation, screen print, embroidery, heat transfer, and related apparel production methods.

• Maintain design accuracy across front, back, sleeve, trim, logo placement, numbers, names, and team identity elements.

Production-Ready File Preparation

• Organize final artwork files with proper sizing, alignment, colors, layers, bleeds, and production notes where required.

• Review artwork for technical issues such as broken paths, unnecessary points, unexpanded strokes, incorrect colors, poor spacing, or low-quality assets.

• Prepare files in required formats including AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, and other formats requested by internal teams or vendors.

Digital Asset Optimization

• Optimize SVG files for clean rendering, small file size, and compatibility with digital customization workflows.

• Create reusable design components, symbols, templates, and artwork libraries to improve speed and consistency.

• Ensure digital assets are organized, named, and stored in a way that supports easy tracking and future revisions.

Collaboration and Quality Control

• Work closely with management, graphics, sales, customer service, production, and web/customizer support teams.

• Review artwork feedback, make revisions accurately, and maintain version control throughout the design process.

• Communicate clearly in English, provide status updates, and complete assigned tasks within agreed deadlines.
