Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Supervise, organize and plan the activity of Data Entry officers to have a reliable record of medical activity performed, as well as identify their training/technical support needs in order to provide a good service support and reliability of the data collected.
∎ • Ensure collation and entry of all data identified by project managers for collection (e.g. morbidity, mortality, surveillance of diseases of epidemics, nutrition, psychological and women’s health, etc) into the appropriate data management system while ensuring quality of data
∎ • Do quality control data officers’ performance on regular basis
∎ • Know and ensure proper use of software used for recording (i.e. Fuchia, Epi Info, etc.).
∎ • Ensure accuracy of the medical data entered into the mission’s database on a regular basis, according to MSF protocols and carry out regular back-ups.
∎ • Provide technical support to data entry officers/operators in project sites and give response to their training needs.
∎ • Provide regular statistical reports for the medical team as well as informing the superior of any missing information, major changes or big differences in data
∎ • Resposible for accurate and timely entry of project and research specific data .
∎ • Provide regular feedback and report : weekly, Monthly, quaterly and annuarly updates of data and on ongoing research activities.
∎ • In collaboration with the epidemiologist, ensure management for research studies including generation of data.
∎ • Ensure site activities in line with study protocol (i.e. Consent form, randomization, recruitment, etc.).
∎ • Maintain timely and effective communication to PMR, epidemiologist on routine, or as needed.
∎ • Facilitate preparation and collection of project data (base on log frame), study level data collection forms and other documents (OPD forms, SRH forms, MH forms, various registers, and source document) and make update if necessary.
∎ • Support medical managers in comprehensive data collection, compilation and interpretation.
∎ • Assist with data query resolution process for outsourced data management team (DCF resolutions).
∎ • Create and update on time the dashboard.
∎ • Ensure on time update of all database.
∎ • Ensure that all indicators are measured quarterly/annually.
∎ • Facilitate the implementation of DHIS II.
∎ • Supervising the data processing officer in carrying out the objectives, evaluation, leaves, planning.
∎ • Provide technical support to the data processing officer (assessment of need, training, quality control of data).
∎ • Participate in weekly medical meeting.
∎ • Networking with other OCs (epi, data supervisor).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ • Essential knowledge of use of computer including processing of documents
∎ • Desirable knowledge on medical statistics data bases.
∎ • Good organizational knowledge and ability to work independently;
∎ • Good communication skills: ability to interact as part of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.
