Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the cement packing plant through the Central Control Room (CCR) using DCS/PLC systems. The role ensures stable packing operations, accurate bag weight control, minimum downtime, and optimized production through modern automation and process control systems.
Operate and monitor the packing plant from CCR using DCS/PLC systems
Control and supervise packing machines, conveyors, weighers, and loading systems
Ensure accurate bag weight and stable packing performance
Maintain continuous production with minimum breakdowns and stoppages
Coordinate with mechanical/electrical teams for troubleshooting and maintenance
Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions when required
Ensure safety compliance and proper use of PPE in all operations
Maintain shift reports, production logs, and downtime records
Support the optimization of the packing plant using modern automation and digital tools
