Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure day by day (regular) receiving of accessories and all other associated materials of the garments;
∎ Review total area of his store and observe the condition of store house early in the morning to determine the condition of storage items and its safety;
∎ Take accountability of manpower placed under him daily;
∎ Report immediately to his superior in case of any major discrepancies in storage materials and building;
∎ Ensure on time receiving of accessories and all other materials correctly and securely;
∎ Ensure storage of material with proper traceability and identity and whether these are being stored maintaining proper principle of storage;
∎ Ensure proper preservation of materials in case of bulk storage for longer period;
∎ Ensure delivery of right type of items to right place at right time in right quantity and quality for uninterrupted production;
∎ Ensure snap check of material weekly in order to prevent pilferage and to discourage mishandling of materials;
∎ Responsible for ensuring proper & on time documentation of materials for it's receives and issues;
∎ Responsible for ensuring total logistic support of his department and liaison with higher authority for necessary approval in case of major requirement;
∎ Responsible for ensuring safety of store, placement of sufficient first aid firefighting appliances as per the space entitlement;
∎ Look after the welfare of personnel deployed under him to carry out day to day activities;
∎ Ensure cleanliness & tidiness of the store area frequently;
∎ Any other duties as assigned by the head of department / higher authority.
