∎ B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or similar applied technical field or equivalent experience
∎ Skills Required: Cucumber, Jenkins, JUnit, Maven Build tools, RESTful API, Selenium, Soap
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with 'Lead Engineer - Test' to review stories, write and execute test plans, file bugs, and communicate with the team about issues, risk, and product quality
∎ Write and maintain automated tests using Espresso, Appium, Selenium and other tools
∎ Create end-to-end automated test coverage using Rspec, Protractor, etc.
∎ Design and build tools for running tests
∎ Research solutions for scaling and improving performance
∎ Work with the rest of the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs
∎ UI testing, black box, functional, automated regression, performance testing and security testing
∎ Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the QA process
∎ Work with engineering and support to triage inbound bug reports and reproduce reported issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3+ years of experience with manual and automated testing, developing automated tests
∎ Good understanding of the development processes
∎ Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
∎ Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Java/JQuery, Javascript, Python/Jython, Ruby, Groovy, C++/C#, .Net, VBScript, SQL, etc)
∎ Clear understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies (Angular, REST etc.)
∎ Exposure to development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Espresso, Selenium Grid, Junit, SOAP-UI, Eclipse, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Visual Studio, JIRA, etc
∎ Exposure to platforms/OS/Servers (e.g. Windows Server, Linux/Unix, J2EE, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etcÖ)
∎ Experience with SQL Query, scripting and good understanding of DevOps pipeline highly desirable
∎ Must have a keen eye to recognize potential problem areas
∎ Methodical and detail oriented, with solid analytical skills and problem solving ability
∎ Have dedication to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing
∎ Self-motivated; able to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them, without external direction
