• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information and Communication Engineering (ICE), or closely related IT fields.

• Certifications (Preferred): Valid industry credentials such as:

  Data Center: Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), or Schneider Electric/APC competencies.

  Systems & Cloud: Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Red Hat Certified Engineer/Administrator (RHCE/RHCSA).

• 5 to 8 years of strong, hands-on experience in enterprise systems, server operations, and data center facility management, with at least 3+ years administering M365 enterprise environments and a proven track record of inheriting running infrastructure.

• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, certificate services, and the Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

• Mastery of data center power architecture (Single-phase/Three-phase power), precision cooling systems, and structured cabling practices.

• Expertise in virtualization layers (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V), SAN/NAS or equivalent storage solutions, and enterprise backup/recovery platforms (Veeam, Commvault).

• Proficiency in PowerShell (including Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra modules) or Bash scripting for automation, monitoring, log analysis, and automated patch management.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, routing, firewall dependencies, and enterprise security policies.

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of "Senior System, Server & Data Center Administrator- IT" at Dhaka.

The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:

A. Server and Platform Administration

• Administer physical and virtual servers (Windows Server and Linux frameworks), virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V, and the enterprise Microsoft 365 platform.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, certificates and authentication integrations.

• Maintain server lifecycle, firmware, operating system patching, configuration baselines, hardening and vulnerability remediation.

• Plan capacity and monitor CPU, memory, storage, event logs and service health; troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

B. Data Center and Storage Operations

• Operate data center infrastructure, including racks, structured cabling, power and UPS coordination, cooling, environmental monitoring and physical access controls.

• Manage enterprise storage platforms, capacity allocation, performance and lifecycle activities.

• Coordinate with facilities, vendors and internal teams to maintain safe and reliable data center operations.

C. Backup, Disaster Recovery and Availability

• Implement and maintain backup, replication, disaster recovery and restoration procedures.

• Conduct scheduled restoration and recovery tests, retain evidence and maintain recovery documentation.

• Support high availability for critical services and coordinate approved maintenance windows, impact assessments and rollback plans.

D. Security, Governance and Service Management

• Coordinate privileged access, MFA, server protection, log forwarding and incident response with cybersecurity teams.

• Maintain infrastructure diagrams, inventory, licensing records, configuration documentation, SOPs and operational runbooks.

• Manage vendor escalations, warranties, maintenance contracts and technical acceptance of infrastructure equipment.

• Provide approved after-hours support for critical incidents and scheduled maintenance under the on-call roster.
