Job Context:
∎ TYPE OF REQUISITION: National Project Personnel(NPP)
∎ DUTY STATION: Cox`s Bazar
∎ ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: FAO REPRESENTATIVE IN BANGLADESH
∎ DURATION: 12 months (with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support strategic and operational planning at project and Programme level, promoting a results-based approach and a focus on impact;
∎ Develop / review project's logframes, SMART indicators and targets, monitoring and evaluation plans, data collection methodology and relevant tools for monitoring and reporting of programme activities and results;
∎ Analyze and evaluate data against objectives and logframes, and develop presentations and written products on the findings.
∎ Develop reporting schedules for individual projects' activities and consolidate into a programme reporting schedule;
∎ Draft consolidated project's reports required throughout the project cycle for donors including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation, and providing specific recommendations based on identified challenges and opportunities;
∎ Serve as liaison to government partners as directed, reporting on progress, challenges and achievements and promoting lessons learned, developing written documents and presentations as needed.
∎ Provide coaching/mentoring support in data literacy and other technical areas (eg data analysis, data collection) to Programme staff.
∎ Develop Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) key messages and information, education and communications materials for projects' activities and trainings and ensure integration and mainstreaming of AAP and cross-cutting themes, such as gender equity and protection, in the M&E designs.
∎ Perform regular spot-checks and activity monitoring along with partners to collect beneficiary feedback and provide guidance on necessary activity adjustments, in line with AAP principles and best practice.
∎ Liaise with project management and provide recommendations to HoSO to enhance efficacy and efficiency insofar as utilization of project/programme resources designated to M&E activities.
∎ Provide technical support for programme evaluations as needed (review of TORs, methodologies, reports), including acting as internal evaluator if required.
∎ Build upon FAO experiences within and beyond the Programme, to improve consistency, quality and practicality of monitoring and evaluation strategies and tools.
∎ Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 7 (seven) years of progressively responsible professional work experiences in project/program management, results-based monitoring and evaluation and reporting
∎ Working knowledge of English
∎ National of Bangladesh.
