Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance ICAB advance level or equivalent.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Minimize financial risk exposure by ensuring that appropriate financial systems and internal controls are in place to avoid significant audit risk rating.
∎ Planning and coordination of Response Office internal & other external statutory audits including timely management responses and ensuring implementation of the recommendations.
∎ Lead and support to Monthly, Quarterly & yearly budget preparation, projection and analysis.
∎ Ensure banking and cash disbursements are taking place with adequate safety, security and controls Monitor changes in government legislation e.g. on taxation as they affect office operations e.g. effect of any new legislation on employees' tax base and ensure that legal and government requirements from accounting part are met.
∎ File annual tax return for the organization, staff and tax return under Section 108 of the Income Tax Ordinance for staff within govt. declared time frame.
∎ Review all payment requisitions and vouchers for correct coding and charging of cost centers, proper authorization and supporting documents in line with BBML finance policy to ensure completeness and accuracy.
∎ Ensures that all receivables are properly managed and duly tracked.
∎ Develop good network with banks, partner agencies, financial institutions and VAT/Tax authority. Oversee and supervise payroll, severance, provident fund and cash flow management.
∎ Perform the role as the Company Secretary.
∎ Coordinate and produce all tax documentation, RJSC work, submitted and Attend Hearing within scheduled/noticed date and time as required.
∎ Perform any other activities as may be assigned by the CEO & Editor from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 35 years and 5 year(s) of Experience in relevant function.
∎ Candidates should be skilled on Tally accounting software and MS Excel.
∎ Demonstrated financial reporting skills.
∎ Planning of organization's Banking/Finance/Accounts/Audit Strategies.
∎ Excellent Managerial Skill.
