∎ Experience in renowned fashion brands (Aarong, LeReve, Rise, Sailor etc). will get preference
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Experience in working with a minimum 2 renowned fashion brands,
∎ 2. Ensure timely and efficacious design and development of products in line with customers' requirements.
∎ 3. Understanding different types of fabric, construction and other technical aspects.
∎ 4. Creating tech packs with detailed specifications and overseeing the prototype sample process.
∎ 5. Sound knowledge in fashion designing, according to fashion & market trends, sourcing etc.
∎ 6. Researching current fashion trends; forecasting and determining consumer demand.
∎ 7. Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
∎ 8. Creating clothing patterns for mass production.
∎ 9. Testing and deciding on fabrics, trims, colors, patterns and textures for each design.
∎ 10. Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and models.
∎ 11. Working with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
∎ 12. Creating cost sheets and product lists.
∎ 13. Develop and implement the overall design strategy in alignment with the brand's vision and market position.
∎ 14. Oversee the sourcing of materials and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality and price.
