Experience:

• 3 to 4 years

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration

• Partly qualified CA / CMA / ACCA will be an added advantage

• 3 to 4 years

• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in VAT & Tax

• Experience in manufacturing sector will be preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT & Tax laws

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and coordination skills

Job Summary

The VAT & Tax Executive will be responsible for ensuring compliance with VAT, tax, and regulatory requirements under prevailing laws. The role involves preparation, submission, and coordination of all VAT & tax-related returns, records, and correspondence with relevant authorities.

Reporting To: GM – Accounts & Vat

Job Location: Tepir Bari, Mawna , Sreepur, Gazipur

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushak 9.1) accurately and on time

• Maintain VAT registers, Mushak forms, and related documentation

• Calculate and deposit VAT, AIT, and other statutory taxes

• Prepare withholding tax (AIT) returns and certificates

• Assist in preparation and submission of annual income tax returns

• Ensure compliance with VAT & Tax Act, Rules, and SROs

• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and NBR officials when required

• Support VAT & tax audits and inspections

• Maintain proper documentation for input VAT credit and adjustments

• Assist in tax planning to ensure lawful tax efficiency

• Keep updated with changes in VAT & tax laws and regulations
