Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in Accounting or related field from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing and submitting the withholding tax return as per the guideline of the Income-tax Ordinance, 1984;
∎ Communicating to the income tax circle office and VAT office regarding smooth and on time deposit of TDS and VDS;
∎ Preparing the report of 108A and timely submission of the report 108 and 108A to the income tax circle office;
∎ Posting ledger as per the chart of accounts provided by the UGC and preparing trial balance thereby;
∎ Facilitating/assisting statutory and internal/interim audit processes independently;
∎ Preparing and checking the receipt and payment statement/cash book/bank book;
∎ Preparation of bank reconciliation statement and maintaining cheque book register thereby;
∎ Checking various vouchers, bills and cash book etc.;
∎ Preparing various reports related to accounts and any other assignments by the higher authorities/management;
∎ Maintaining liaison among the different offices;
∎ Managing all types of departmental schedules and deadlines;
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum five years of experience including minimum three years of experience in the university
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office is the unavoidable requirement.
∎ Knowledge on the GAAP and IAS and BAS.
∎ Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
∎ Experience in the university sector will be given preference.
