∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct trend research and product line setting based on themes, color palettes, patterns, and sales reports.
∎ Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to analyze the design budget and provide input for adjustments if needed.
∎ Update budget documents with details on fabric type, color, and surface work.
∎ Coordinate with team members to maintain color and design proportions.
∎ Research and analyze motifs for design development.
∎ Develop design layout with motif composition, color swatch, and detailing.
∎ Prepare updated size charts and product details for layout and documentation.
∎ Work with graphic designers for digital output of designs.
∎ Submit and review design layouts with the team.
∎ Coordinate with RM and purchase team for material follow-ups.
∎ Communicate with producers and sample departments for embroidery, print, and handwork.
∎ Plan and follow up on outwork schedules with producers.
∎ Work on sample sewing, fitting, and approvals in collaboration with the pattern master.
∎ Estimate cost for samples and final product selling prices.
∎ Prepare and update sample card comments and submit samples to the coordinator.
∎ Stay involved in the entire follow-up loop with updated documentation.
∎ Develop the story concept and visual layout for the photoshoot.
∎ Prepare props list, finalize models, and coordinate wardrobe needs.
∎ Meet with the photographer regularly for planning and adjustments.
∎ Design backdrop and scout outdoor shoot locations.
∎ Oversee arrangement and packaging of products for shoot day.
∎ Supervise styling and makeup during the shoot.
∎ Assist the photographer in executing shoot concepts.
∎ Review past photoshoots and make improvements for the next.
