Job Context:
∎ STS Group (www.stsgroupbd.com) is the largest private sector conglomerate in the health and education sectors in Bangladesh. For its on going and upcoming projects, STS Group is actively recruiting a Senior Architect.
∎ As a senior Architect, he will be responsible to handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. The architect`s responsibilities include but not limited to managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing design and construction drawings, specifications, budgets, construction documents, and coordinate with all consultant along with the project teams. He should be able to take ownership of the project, be it the design and construction of a new building, an extension, alterations or a restoration project, and deliver on the client`s/ company`s requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirements in conjunction with Chief Engineer.
∎ Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
∎ Developing and presenting project proposals.
∎ Adjusting designs and plans to meet the client's / company's needs.
∎ Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
∎ Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
∎ Complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.
∎ Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
∎ Coordinating with all external consultant to get the design on time.
∎ Managing project teams and collaborating with other construction professionals.
∎ Preparing Construction Drawings & as built drawings.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Bachelor's / Master's Degree in architecture or a related field.
∎ Professional Membership of IAB along with enlistment with RAJUK, CDA and/or other Authorities.
∎ Previous experience of 10+ years as a Project / Site Architect preferred.
∎ Excellent technical drawing skills.
∎ Strong communication and project management skills.
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
∎ Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
∎ Excellent knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards of Bangladesh.
∎ Strong creative and visualization skills.
