Role Overview

The Training Officer (Sales) will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs for PalmPay's sales force, field agents, and retail partners. The role aims to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance through effective onboarding, product knowledge training, sales capability development, and continuous learning initiatives while ensuring consistent communication of company policies, processes, and service standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery

  • Conduct induction and onboarding training for newly hired sales employees, Business Partners (BPs), field agents, and retail partners.

  • Deliver classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions on PalmPay products, services, sales techniques, customer handling, compliance requirements, and operational processes.

  • Facilitate refresher training programs to improve sales performance, productivity, and service quality.

  • Ensure training sessions are engaging, interactive, and aligned with business objectives.

Training Needs Assessment

  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, field observations, surveys, assessments, and discussions with Sales and Operations teams.

  • Analyze performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning and development interventions.

Training Content Development

  • Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, SOPs, assessments, job aids, and training guides.

  • Ensure training content reflects current product features, operational processes, company policies, and market developments.

Field Coaching & Performance Support

  • Conduct regular field visits to observe sales activities and provide coaching to employees, Business Partners, and retail partners.

  • Support sales teams in applying training concepts and best practices in real-world situations.

  • Provide constructive feedback and performance improvement recommendations to employees and their supervisors.

Product Launch & Business Support

  • Support the rollout of new products, campaigns, promotions, and operational initiatives through effective training and communication.

  • Deliver specialized training on new products, services, digital payment solutions, and sales strategies.

Training Evaluation & Reporting

  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, performance tracking, and field observations.

  • Maintain training records, attendance reports, assessment results, and learning databases.

  • Prepare periodic training reports and share insights and recommendations with management.

  • Track key training metrics, including participation, completion rates, and post-training performance improvements.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with HR, Sales, Operations, and other relevant departments to plan and execute training initiatives.

  • Coordinate training schedules, logistics, and resources to ensure smooth program delivery.

  • Support the implementation of learning and development initiatives across different regions and business units.
