ACI Shrimp Genetics is seeking a Sales Representative who will be responsible for selling shrimp PL and juvenile products directly to shrimp farmers and through authorized dealers. The role involves market development, customer relationship management, order collection, coordination with dealers, and ensuring product availability to drive sustainable sales growth.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
Maintain a clear understanding of the assigned sales targets and make all-out efforts to achieve them.
Collect orders, ensure sales, and secure sales collections from shrimp farmers within the assigned territory in line with set targets.
Add new shrimp farmers, dealers, and hatchery partners, while building and continuously strengthening strong relationships with existing farmers, pond owners, and relevant technical professionals.
Prepare a weekly tour program in advance, obtain approval from the supervisor, and ensure regular field visits in accordance with the approved tour plan.
In case any changes to the tour program are required, immediately communicate with the supervisor and obtain the necessary approval.
Prepare, maintain, and regularly update a comprehensive database for each farmer/dealer partner, including name, address, area, contact number, pond/farm type, and business profile, and keep accurate records of each visit.
Immediately inform senior officials about any issues, complaints, or technical queries raised by farmers or customers, and properly report feedback received from the field.
Regularly collect and maintain market intelligence on competitors’ hatchery or genetic products, including PL/Juvenile quality, pricing, delivery systems, and promotional activities.
