Job Context:
∎ Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital (IIEI&H) has been known for about 60 years and is the largest multispecialty eye hospital in Bangladesh. The emphasis is on quality eye care for all socio-economic sections of society.
∎ IIEI&H is currently looking for bright, energetic, dynamic, and enthusiastic Sales Assistant (Optic Shop)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and color, and ensure that frames are coordinated with facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions.
∎ Maintain records of customer prescriptions, slip orders, and payments.
∎ Sell goods such as contact lenses, spectacles, sunglasses, and other goods related to eyes in general.
∎ Instruct patients in how to wear and care for eyeglasses.
∎ Show customers how to insert, remove, and care for their contact lenses.
∎ Arrange and maintain displays of optical merchandise.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 (two) year of working experience as a salesman (preferably eyecare products/ services)
∎ Mental strength for long hours services and work under pressure
∎ Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
∎ Good interpersonal skills
∎ Practical knowledge on MS Office Applications
