Educational Requirements:
∎ Qualified doctor with MBBS degree fully registered to practice.
∎ Relevant experience as per infirmary requirements in general medicine.
∎ Competent in emergency procedures, e.g. CPR, intubations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide responsible, safe, efficient, and compassionate physician practice activities to all the student and staffs of PHIS.
∎ To provide urgent medical attention and urgent treatment to students and staffs in case of accident or sudden illness in liaison with the resident nurse on duty.
∎ Examining all students in the course of the school year. Documentation of the examination results in the health file of the students;
∎ Counselling students as and when required on health issues.
∎ Health education in supporting of classroom curriculum.
∎ Performing triage; such as maintaining stability, action taken on emergency situation, in-house treatment or going to outside resource places.
∎ Maintaining proper communication with parents and with student's family doctor (if any) regarding students' health.
∎ Mandating & updating the documents regarding students or employee health issue.
∎ Refer the serious and critical patients to outer hospital if required with prior approval from the concern authority.
∎ Organize seminar and awareness program on hygiene, first aid, occupational health or any epidemic break out. Contributing to combating infectious diseases.
∎ Implement and provide primary Health care services.
∎ Recommend on the medical reports of management staff & students before recruitment.
∎ Recommend sick leave of the students and employees to the concern authority for approval.
∎ Monitoring nutrition and quality of food.
∎ Resident doctors are responsible for preventive measures in workshops, sports facilities, school kitchens, laboratories and similar facilities, in order to prevent health hazards, and they are also responsible for correct workplace environment.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or Head of School.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of common medical problems of adults and the treatment of these problems.
∎ Knowledge of common medical problems of children and the treatment of these problems.
∎ Knowledge of common gynecologic and obstetrical problems and their treatment.
∎ Knowledge of common psychiatric and psychological problems and their treatment.
∎ Knowledge on food & nutrition.
∎ Possess basic skills in public speaking as required for presentation of conferences to fellow residents.
∎ Perform in a calm and rational manner during stressful conditions.
