Job Context:
∎ This is an Ad for a Management PhD supporting role that mainly involves taking and translating interviews in the textiles industry. The PhD candidate is at the end of his fieldwork and requires assistance in data handling. Although no experience is required, any experience with Writing will certainly help. Don`t mind the lengthy list of responsibilities listed below (it`s a braindump). You can work remotely from home if you are proficient with your communications. Compensation for your contribution is negotiable.
∎ Employment Status : Part-time; 25 Hrs/week

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have writing skill in Bangla and English, and accurately translate Bangla to English independently
∎ Must be a fast learner, capable of absorbing fast-paced training in data quality check measures
∎ Assist Research Director with research tools, development and evaluation of instructional materials and/or curricula
∎ Engage constructively with research subjects from different cultures, orientations, and perspectives
∎ Must be skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with research subjects
∎ Coordinate with research subjects to schedule interview sessions or conduct survey
∎ Assist Research Director in conducting qualitative data collection (e.g., interviews using structured and semi-structured interview questionnaires), including taking notes during the interviews, preparing detailed verbatim Bangla transcripts from audio recordings, etc. Interviews may be by phone or in-person physical visits
∎ Assist Research Director in creating presentations, interpreting data through graphs, and writing reports.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Good communication and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to relate respectfully with staff at all levels, ages, gender, and orientations, especially at government health facilities.
∎ Fluency in English and working knowledge of research methods will get preference.
∎ Must have a personal laptop / computer and internet connection to work from home.

Salary: Tk. 10000 (Monthly)
