Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Age 18 to 40 years

• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks for product features and APIs.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright (we use it here), Selenium, CodeceptJS, Cypress, and Appium.

• Ability to write and maintain Playwright scripts for web application testing.

• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of DOM (Document Object Model) manipulation for testing purposes.

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used with automation frameworks, such as JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using these languages.

• Demonstrated experience in web testing and API testing.

• Familiarity with WordPress and proven experience testing both WordPress plugins and SaaS-based products.

• Exposure to tools and processes such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Postman for API testing and workflow integration.

• Reviewing requirements and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test metrics, following TDD and BDD approaches.

• Executing both manual and automated tests to ensure product quality.

• Writing automation scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, CodeceptJS, and Appium.

• Performing functional, regression, unit, integration, API, and cross-browser testing.

• Building automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Webdriver or Puppeteer.

• Testing WordPress plugins and ensuring compatibility across different versions and environments.

• Collaborating with developers to identify, document, and resolve bugs thoroughly.

• Participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
