Job Context:
∎ Karmojibi Nari (KN) is going to start a new project titled “Securing Rights for Domestic Workers in Bangladesh” funded by OXFAM-GB from 01 August 2022 - 31 March 2023 (8 months) and applications are called for the post of the Project Manager in this project.
∎ The Project Manager will be overall responsible for day-to-day program management and implementation at project hub office level. S/he will be the key person at project to ensure every programmatic and financial activity through his/her supervisees. S/he will monitor and supervise all activities done by other related employees both at filed and office. S/he will maintain necessary coordination, liaison will KN Head Office, OXFAM Donors, respective GoB Officials and other local stakeholders.
∎ Major Internal Contact: Finance Coordinator (Partial), Project Supervisor, Social Mobilizer, Support staff, Additional Executive Director, Executive Director, Procurement team, HR & Safeguard Focal (Partial).
∎ Supervise and monitor to: Finance Coordinator (partial), Finance & Admin Officer, Project Supervisor, HR & Safeguard Focal (Partial), Social Mobilizers, Support staff.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programmatic:
∎ The Project Manager (PM) will remain accountable & responsible to the Executive Director (ED). The performance the PM will be assessed by the ED of KN in the process of Project Implementation. As programmatic part the incumbent will be working in the following scope;
∎ Managing and supervising the project team including field level staffs and ensuring staff development, mentoring, supervision & evaluation;
∎ Facilitating and ensuring capacity building activities of project team, stakeholders, and project target groups.
∎ Leading the proper cost-effective project implementation within the given timeline.
∎ Communicating and coordinating with multiple partners, donors, knowledge institutes, government, support services.
∎ Designing, organizing, facilitating meetings, workshop, training with diversified participants according to the project requirement.
∎ Developing and reviewing skill development tools, research tools and methods, concept notes etc.
∎ Ensure proper and timely monitoring of the project activities and planning accordingly
∎ Analyzing risks for the project implementation, its target groups, staffs in different changed context.
∎ Visiting and monitoring field extensively
∎ The organization and the project in different forum, consortium and network.
∎ PM will review, finalize and submit monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report to ED of KN, donors and other relevant authorities as per requirement of the project;
∎ Financial and Logistics:
∎ He/ She will Supervise & Monitor the Administration and Financial activities monthly basis
∎ Ensure adequate transparency, proper governing, and monitoring to the expenditure of funds as per organization and donor compliance.
∎ Ensure audit feedback in time.
∎ Strictly follow and ensure organization’s policies and donor compliance for procurements.
∎ Ensure proper documentation of every expenditure according to the donor compliance and organization policy.
∎ Quality Assurance:
∎ Responsible for maintaining overall quality of the project activities.
∎ Ensure proper implementation and documentation of every activities of the project by extensively visiting field offices and communities.
∎ Check database are recorded correctly in the appropriate data profile forms/register/software
∎ Ensure valid and reliable data recording and reporting with assistance of related person
∎ Establish proper quality check of every activity, planning, reporting with regular internal communication and regular communication with donor.
∎ Coordination & Public Relation:
∎ Maintain liaison with GoB, local representative and other stakeholders.
∎ Coordinate with OXFAM while they will pay visit to the field and update them about all activities as required.
∎ Extend cooperation to OXFAM and other Partners accordingly.
∎ Emergency situation/ Disaster:
∎ If any emergency situation occurred where Securing Rights projects are going on, that time the employees those are doing their duties they should participate to help lead by project Manager.
∎ As required PM will be raising fund with support of donor.
∎ Others:
∎ Ensure Email & Internet, Software, Computer, printer use with skilled
∎ If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.
∎ Accountable about all types of works on related responsible person.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who have experience in Workers’ Rights Especially Domestic Workers Right.
∎ Age at most 40 years (Age may be considered for experienced and deserving candidate).

∎ 5-10 years working experience in development sector including 5 years in project management.
∎ Strong interpersonal skill is highly desired for the said position.
∎ Proficiency in English is required.

Salary: Negotiable

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Facilities will be provided as per organization & Project Policy after confirmation.
∎ Two days Weekend (Friday & Saturday).
