∎ Bachelor of Law (LLB), Master of Law (LLM)
∎ Candidates possessing a PhD degree or equivalent degree should have an active service of 14 years in the University of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor;
∎ Candidates possessing an MPhil or equivalent degree should have an active service of 16 years in the University of which 6 years must be as Associate Professor. or
∎ Candidates possessing an LLM should have an active service of 20 years in the University of which 8 years must be as Associate Professor.
∎ Candidates possessing a PhD degree or equivalent degree should have an active service of 14 years in the University of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor;
∎ Candidates possessing an MPhil or equivalent degree should have an active service of 16 years in the University of which 6 years must be as Associate Professor. or
∎ Candidates possessing an LLM should have an active service of 20 years in the University of which 8 years must be as Associate Professor.

∎ Candidates must have 15 research publications in peer reviewed journals or in the form of reviewed book in the allied disciplines of which 07 should be during the period of service as Associate Professor.

∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong IT skills.
∎ A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
∎ Willingness to work in a rural area and contribute to the intellectual growth of the university community.
∎ Fluency in Bengali and English.

∎ Teach law courses across a broad range of subjects.
∎ Develop and deliver new courses aligned with the department’s curricula.
∎ Supervise and mentor students.
∎ Conduct research in the area of expertise and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
∎ Contribute to the university’s service activities, including various committee work and program development.
∎ Undertake other assigned duties by the department or the university.
