Experience:

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• M.B.B.S from a recognized institution or an equivalent academic qualification as recognised by the B.M.D.C.

• Registration with the B.M.D.C.

• Discipline: Medicine/ General Surgery/Cardiology/Orthopedics/Plastic Surgery & Burn/Endocrinology/Neurosurgery/Gastroenterology

• With any of the following Post- graduate Degree or Diploma in the relevant subject from a recognized Institution or with such other equivalent academic qualification as recognized by BMDC: MD, MS, FCPS, M.Sc, FRCS, Ph.D or Diploma in relevant subjects (07/04 years’ experience in case of Diploma).

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Age At least 45 years

• 5 years for Professor & 03 years for Associate Professor teaching experience in the relevant subject or in any other equivalent post as recognized by BMDC.

• 05 publications for the professor & 03 publications for the associate professor in medical journals recognized by BMDC.

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, clinical, integrated teaching , problem-based-learning, generic topics and seminars for undergraduate and graduate students.

• Monitor student attendance and performance in classes, exams, and tutorials, developing strategies for improvement.

• Review and select appropriate textbooks, journals, and other educational materials for the respective classes.

• Report student progress to department head.

• Collaborate with professors on class topics and content.

• Gather student feedback post-lectures.

• Provide guidance and counseling to students on academic and personal career matters.

• During office hours, perform ward rounds, surgeries, and academic tasks after completing clinical (OPD & IPD) duties.

• Ensure that medical services are provided to patients of the respective ward by physicians, nurses, and relevant staff.

• Ensure precise and current medical record maintenance for patients.

• Lead ward classes, evening rounds, and bedside teaching for students, and provide emergency and on-call services.

• Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

• Supervise departmental research activities.

• Update teaching methods and student assignments.

• Collaborate with other departments and institutions to develop joint academic programs.

• Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the Respected Authority.
