Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
∎ Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
∎ Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
∎ Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services, products, and materials.Ensure timely delivery and quality of purchased items.
∎ Analyze market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
∎ Resolve issues related to delivery delays, defective goods, or supplier performance.
∎ Collaborate with finance to ensure timely payment and budget control.
