Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline, MBA/Professional Qualification in Supply Chain is preferable but not mandatory
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze the local and international market regarding supplier and commodity price, other qualitative and quantitative issues, develop new and potential vendors
∎ Process purchase orders, insurance claims within stipulated time and follow up for realizing the claim
∎ Manage suppliers' relationship process including supplier evaluation, selection, development and appraisal
∎ Manage the international and inbound logistics for better price option, ensuring control and avoiding risk
∎ Plan and implement strategic and operational processes for import and export activities and other sourcing issues
∎ Determine and implement strategies for negotiation that the price increase can be avoided, products and services can be procured with in target and relationship can be maintained at the desired level
∎ Manage the contracts to mitigate supply risk, litigation, product liability and negligence claims
∎ Coordinate with C&F agents, Customs and port officials, banks, insurance companies, lawyers, vendors, suppliers and other Linde entities for smooth functioning of import and export function
Additional Requirements:
∎ Advance level of customer service and interpersonal skill
∎ Able to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Strong communication skill both in Bangla and English
∎ 3-5 years of functional level working experience in Import/Export or related areas
∎ Must have sound knowledge regarding various L/C and related works
∎ Must have experience in working with banks, Customs, Shipping line, Freight forward and C&F.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Export Policy, Bond formalities and other related laws applicable for Import & Export.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable plus other industry standard fringe benefits as per company policy
