Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Context:
∎ Hijra and marginalize people often confront stigma, prejudice, discrimination and sometimes violence based on their gender identity. The Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights report also documented widespread discrimination in employment, education, health and other areas of Hijra and marginalize persons around the world.
∎ Major Duties and Responsibilities:·
∎ Ensure adequate medical standards, good facilities and services.
∎ Ensure adequate counseling and proper information to the hijra & marginalized people.
∎ Maintain strict confidentiality of Clint information.
∎ Ensure registration, clinical examination and documentation for every single patient.
∎ Ensure identification, examination, and referral to appropriate centers while necessary.
∎ Ensuring the syndromic management medication services to the beneficiaries.
∎ Maintaining confidentiality of every patient.
∎ Ensuring the patient follow-up.
∎ In case of emergency, immediately notify Line Manager and take steps as suggested.
∎ Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
∎ Examining patients, taking medical histories, and diagnosing their conditions
∎ Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients
∎ Creating and implementing treatment plans and prescribing medications
∎ Performing basic medical procedures and referring patients to specialists when needed
∎ Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes
∎ Recording and updating patient information and medical records
∎ Providing advice and education for improving patient health and well-being.
∎ The incumbent will also be responsible for performing any special duty given by the higher authority as and when necessary for the interest of the organization.
