Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform imaging studies based on physician orders, ensuring the appropriate protocols are followed.
∎ Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
∎ Administer contrast agents as needed under the supervision of a physician, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines
∎ .Adjust imaging equipment settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.Review images for clarity, accuracy, and proper coverage of the area being examined.Collaborate with radiologists to identify any additional imaging needs.
∎ Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging procedures performed and observations.
∎ Follow all safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation for patients, staff, and self.
∎ In-depth knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
