∎ JOB PURPOSE: To provide eye care services from the vision center through teleconsultation with the Ophthalmologist of Base Hospital/ BRAC eye care doctors.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure day to day management of the eye patients
∎ Provide ophthalmic check-up including eye examination through trial set, slit lamp and other ophthalmic equipment
∎ Follow strictly the clinical protocol developed by the project
∎ Provide telemedicine services to each patients
∎ Provide refraction services and dispending appropriate medicine and spectacles
∎ Ensure the entry of the patients’ information to the Vision Centre Management (VCM) software and maintain online performance report on daily basis (or as per the management requirement)
∎ Communicate to the respective person of the hospital for teleconsultation services
∎ Provide effective counselling to the patients for completion of services
∎ Involve in day-to-day fund management of vision centre
∎ Inform to the AM for any problem facing in daily operation of the center

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ Good skill in handling ophthalmic equipment to examine eyes
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Basic computer operations
∎ Sound knowledge on the technical issues of eye care
∎ Decision making
∎ 1 year of experience in working at hospital and/or BRAC Vision Center, or completed MLOP training course for 1 year
