∎ B.Sc (Engg.) from any recognized university/ institution (Preferred subject EEE/Mechanical/IPE/ Environmental/any other applied sciences). Professional degree/ certification Trade course in Electrical / Electronic technology is preferable.

∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Ensure Fire safety, monitoring, maintenance. Ensure basic occupational health safety aspects. Demonstrate and maintain discipline among the subordinates .Maintain discipline among the subordinates
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all site work monitoring, any new tasks related to health safety has to be done with quality.
∎ Ensure monitoring and regular inspection of site's fire detection & protection system, actively running all designated BRAC's entities
∎ Prepare safety team's duty roaster efficiently, ensure proper use of resources thus productivity
∎ Ensure corrective measures, re-filling and replacement of firefighting equipment as & when required
∎ Ensure safety site, post, establishment visit to prepare report & take corrective measures as required
∎ Ensure all the team member are working properly, efficiently running all the safety equipment including water reservoir for firefighting
∎ Record keeping and maintain proper documentations for all types of schedule check up of fire extinguishing equipments
∎ Coordinate with concerned BRAC programmes/ departments/floor managers/Emergency response team to ensure workplace safety
∎ Coordinate with FSCD, RAJUK, Environment ministry as required consulting with supervisor
∎ Take measures to ensure basic occupational health safety at BRAC offices
∎ Explore new initiative at filed operational level to make the necessary changes for more productive & efficient delivery
∎ Develop the team technical skills, other staff development activities, motivate positively align with BRAC's values
∎ Awareness activities for fire safety and occupational health safety
∎ Perform other relevant tasks as endorsed by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Able to find any difficulties in fire penal.
∎ Efficient to handle fire extinguisher
∎ Able to supervise staff at different locations
∎ Knowledge about Fire fighting and emergency response.
∎ Knowledge about automatic fire detection and alarm system
∎ Knowledge about fire penal
∎ Occupational health safety issues and measures
∎ Technical knowledge in mechanical/electrical/civil engineering matters
∎ People management
∎ Fire safety and security measure.
∎ Able to write log sheet and short reports
