Responsibilities & Context
Candidates must have hands-on experience in Nylon and Synthetic fabric dyeing and quality inspection.
Fabric Inspection: Conduct pre-inspection of dyed and finished fabrics according to buyer requirements and quality standards.
Defect Identification: Identify fabric defects such as stains, holes, oil marks, crease marks, uneven dyeing, and other quality issues.
Shade Checking: Check shade variation, shade consistency, and batch-to-batch color differences.
Quality Parameter Checking: Verify fabric GSM, width, shrinkage, and other required quality parameters.
Inspection Reporting: Prepare daily inspection reports, defect reports, and quality status updates.
Defect Segregation: Identify, mark, and separate defective fabrics for necessary corrective action.
Corrective Action Follow-up: Coordinate with Dyeing and Finishing departments to resolve identified quality problems.
Buyer Standard Compliance: Ensure fabric quality meets approved samples, shade bands, and buyer specifications.
Inspection Coordination: Coordinate with Quality, Production, Finishing, and Laboratory teams.
Shipment Support: Ensure fabrics are inspected and ready for final inspection within the shipment schedule.
Documentation: Maintain inspection records, defect analysis, and reprocessing follow-up reports.
Quality Improvement: Support the reduction of fabric defects, rejection, reprocessing, and customer complaints.
Main Objective: To ensure all dyed and finished fabrics are properly inspected, defects are identified and reported, and buyer quality requirements are maintained before final inspection and shipment.
