Educational Requirements:
∎ An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor and / or Masters degree from any recognized university preferably in Commerce / Business Studies
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the team and meet the collective as well as individual objectives / targets
∎ Maintain records of purchases, pricing, agreements and other important data
∎ Create and maintain good business relationships with vendors / suppliers, both locally and globally
∎ Negotiate with suppliers and ensure best price and other relevant terms (like shipping, mode of payment etc.) while purchasing
∎ Coordinate with Sales Team and develop Purchase Plan / Demand Planning based on forecast and historical data
∎ Analyze the movement of stock and help in developing projection to ensure material availability on-time
∎ Maintain standard level of Inventory
∎ Ensure "Bad Stock" is utilized / re-utilized as best as possible to optimize cost and enhance productivity
∎ Coordinate with commercial team regarding shipment and in-house of materials within deadline and through proper documentation
∎ Assist in optimizing freight cost and shipment time
∎ Review and analyze all vendors / suppliers, supply, and price options
∎ Follow-up on suppliers' credit and payment issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ The applicants should have 1-3 (One to Three) years working experience in relevant field
∎ Should be a pleasant personality, smart and well groomed
∎ Should work well independently as well as in a big team
∎ Should be self motivated, organized and disciplined
∎ Should have patience and good negotiation capability with attention to details
∎ Should have keen sense of punctuality along with ethical and professional responsibility
∎ Should be willing to work additional hours if it is required to finish the assigned responsibility
∎ Should have knowledge in MS Office, ERP & other computer applications
∎ Should have good analytical ability, good communication skill in English - both written & verbal
