Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual patient needs.
∎ Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
∎ Assist with diagnostic tests, lab work, and interpreting results.
∎ Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare provider.
∎ Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
∎ Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
∎ Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
∎ Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient charts, progress notes, and medication logs.
∎ Act as an advocate for patient safety and well-being.
∎ Ensure that patients’ rights are respected and that they receive the highest standard of care.
∎ Follow hospital protocols for infection control, sterilization, and patient safety.
∎ Ensure that all patient rooms, equipment, and instruments are properly sanitized.
∎ Provide immediate care during emergencies, including life-saving interventions such as CPR.
∎ Respond to codes and emergency situations in the hospital environment.
∎ Sell and maintain medicine for Pharmacy.
∎ Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
∎ Report incidents, changes in patient conditions, and any unusual occurrences promptly.

DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects.
