Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Installing network hardware components and cables.
∎ Collaborating with other members of the IT team and management.
∎ Providing technical support to co-workers.
∎ Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the network.
∎ Support network infrastructure setup for new projects, office locations, or expansions, ensuring seamless integration.
∎ Collaborate with network engineers and IT staff to enhance network design and maximize efficiency.
∎ Provide technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving network-related issues promptly.
∎ Perform regular backups, system checks, and network tests to ensure network reliability and security.
∎ Technicians inspect LAN/WAN infrastructures and troubleshoot any issues affecting them.
∎ Technicians should have had experience in single-mode, multi-mode, fiber optic, and CAT5/6 cabling.
∎ They install wireless computing networks, cabling, and connections.
∎ Knowledge about Optical Fiber, CAT-5/6 LAN Cable, Access points, CCTV Camera, IP Phone.
∎ Report to line Manager on regular basis
